Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Procurement Advisor to support strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier management, and category management initiatives across telecommunications, wireless, carrier services, and technology-related spend categories.
The ideal candidate brings strong procurement expertise, commercial negotiation experience, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, suppliers, and leadership teams to drive cost savings, optimize supplier performance, and support enterprise procurement objectives.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Negotiate favorable commercial terms, volume discounts, and long-term agreements with suppliers for technical equipment, software, networking services, and technology solutions
β’ Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
β’ Review supplier contracts, purchase order claims, and commercial agreements for policy compliance and operational effectiveness
β’ Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies that deliver cost savings and lowest total cost solutions
β’ Conduct market research and maintain awareness of technology trends, supplier capabilities, market conditions, and pricing trends
β’ Lead contract negotiations and supplier discussions related to pricing, performance, service levels, and delivery commitments
β’ Apply financial, commercial, logistical, risk, and cost analysis tools to support procurement decision-making
β’ Develop and implement category management strategies aligned with enterprise procurement goals and best practices
β’ Identify continuous improvement opportunities that enhance procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and cost management
β’ Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external business partners
β’ Support project planning activities including objectives, timelines, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables
β’ Ensure protection of corporate physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets throughout procurement activities

Required Skills & Experience
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
β’ Experience negotiating commercial agreements, supplier contracts, and procurement terms
β’ Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and contract lifecycle processes
β’ Experience developing procurement strategies that drive cost savings and operational improvements
β’ Ability to apply financial, commercial, logistical, risk, and cost analysis methodologies
β’ Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to execute sourcing opportunities
β’ Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and governance requirements
β’ Experience supporting category management programs and strategic sourcing initiatives
β’ Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
β’ Stable work history within large enterprise organizations
Desired Skills
β’ Minimum 5 years of experience supporting telecommunications, wireless, carrier services, networking, or technology-related spend categories
β’ Strong experience negotiating telecommunications and networking service agreements
β’ Experience with supplier evaluations, vendor management, and contract administration
β’ Knowledge of technology sourcing, carrier services, and telecommunications market trends
β’ Experience supporting enterprise procurement transformation or cost optimization initiatives
β’ 3 years of Big 4 consulting experience preferred
