Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of large-scale utility infrastructure and interconnection projects. This role will be responsible for managing project scope, budget, schedule, stakeholder communications, and successful project execution while supporting critical grid expansion and energy infrastructure initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong construction project management expertise, exceptional communication skills, and experience managing multiple concurrent projects in complex utility, energy, engineering, or infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Manage a portfolio of 20 utility interconnection and added facilities projects simultaneously
β’ Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution
β’ Coordinate with internal engineering, construction, operations, and planning teams to support project delivery
β’ Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
β’ Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, planning sessions, and stakeholder communications
β’ Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
β’ Track project budgets, expenditures, forecasts, and financial performance
β’ Ensure projects meet customer commitments, contractual obligations, and operational requirements
β’ Support construction planning, project scheduling, and resource coordination activities
β’ Prepare project reports, presentations, and executive-level status updates
β’ Manage project documentation, change requests, and project controls processes
β’ Drive collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives

Required Skills & Experience
β’ Bachelor's degree required
β’ Construction project management experience
β’ Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills
β’ Proven ability to facilitate large project and construction meetings
β’ Strong organizational, planning, and coordination capabilities
β’ Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
β’ Ability to collaborate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and customers
β’ Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making skills
β’ Experience working within infrastructure, utility, engineering, construction, or industrial project environments
Desired Skills
β’ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
β’ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related field
β’ Experience supporting utility, energy, power generation, transmission, distribution, or infrastructure projects
β’ Experience managing customer-facing capital projects
β’ Knowledge of project controls, forecasting, budgeting, and construction scheduling
β’ 3 years of Big 4 consulting experience preferred
β’ Stable work history within large enterprise organizations
