Responsible for coordinating day programming services for seniors and adults with disabilities. The Senior Director of Community Based Services is responsible for the facility's day-to-day operations, the assigned staff, and all attending individuals. As a strategic partner and valued senior management team member, the Senior Director is also charged with the facility's overall growth and development, as well as its transition into a multipurpose community site. This position will have a team of direct and indirect reports—Advances Delta’s mission and values.

- Ensure the full capacity of programmatic resources.
- Promote and demonstrate ethical and professional conduct, ensuring employees conduct themselves ethically and professionally.
- Focus on providing opportunities for participants to increase engagement in social and leisure skills.
- Manage the program's day-to-day operations, ensuring that it meets Delta’s standards for service delivery.
- Promote continuous quality improvement projects and ongoing performance measures.
- In collaboration with the team and individuals being served, assist with developing, implementing, updating, and reviewing individual support plans that are strengths-based and person-centered.
- Attend all necessary meetings to support and coordinate services provided to the program participants.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed within the timeframe per ODP regulations and standards.
- Responsible for the overall service delivery of the program participants. Communicate with all team members regarding the participants' progress and participation in the program.
- Coordinate and provide oversight for the CSPs' responsibilities. Monitor staff compliance with all State, County, and Delta policies and procedures.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals served.
- Complete an Initial Assessment with the Program Manager within thirty (30) days of an individual starting the program and annually thereafter.
- Develop and provide meaningful, person-centered activities per the individual plans.
- Support the integration of individuals in the community.
- Ensure the program activities operate within the organization's policies and procedures and comply with all relevant regulations, health, safety, and professional standards.
- Identify and oversee the pairing of individuals with community-based volunteer opportunities.
- Train and orient Community Center staff and families on the principles of community inclusion and its practical implementation.
- Establish relationships with various community groups, emphasizing building and fostering relationships that further the Community Center's mission.
- Ensure that individuals are encouraged to exercise their rights and are protected.
- Oversee department staff's hiring, supervision, development, and performance measurement.
- Monitor and ensure staff compliance with all state, county, and agency policies/ procedures and training.
- Support the submission of required or requested reports to the county, state, and the Leadership Team.
- Promote and demonstrate ethical and professional conduct at all times, ensuring employees conduct themselves ethically and professionally.
