- Position Summary
- The HR Support Specialist provides administrative support to the HR department services.
- Supports employee benefit inquiries and enrollment.
- Performs the new-hire employee process post-start.
- Assists with benefits management.
- Assists with the coordination of coworkers' compensation claims and processes.

- Provides maintenance support for the HCMS system (Paycom)
- Provides support as needed to maintain licensing compliance.
- Reports to: Executive Director of Human Resources
- Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including entering new hires into the HCMS, updating transfers,
- status changes, promotions, processing paperwork, and maintaining records.
- Provide support to HR team members for HR-related inquiries from employees, answering questions
- and directing them to the appropriate resources.
- Handles employee inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate HR personnel as
- needed.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records, including employee information, employment
- history, licensing compliance documentation, and benefits information.
- Manage PAYCOM notifications, including ACA, COBRA, benefits, etc.
Requirements
- Support management of “Ask Here.”
- Support the administrative post-hire of New Hires into Paycom.
- Support Licensing Compliance: OIG/SAM, support the Sr. HR Business Partner with compliance activity.
- PAYCOM maintenance: Transfers, Changes, document uploads, EE portal file maintenance, PAFs.
- Report development and analytics (Paycom).
- Benefit: COBRA management. Carrier billing review.
- Unemployment Compensation claim reviews for NJ and PA.
- Support benefits activity, including staff benefits enrollment and education.
- Support the HR Representatives with Workers' Compensation claims reporting and filing.
- Other related duties as may be assigned.
Position Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's in Communication, Human Resource Management, and Business.
- One year in an HR environment.
- Experience in lieu of education requirement possible.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with employees and leadership.
