Position Summary
The Administrative assistant will assist the Administrative and HR Department with complex and specialized administrative and HR support tasks including maintaining the record keeping, managing and overseeing records, and generating reports
Reports to the Associate Director of Human Resources.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to Delta’s internal and external customers.
- Responsible for answering phones, taking messages and communicate information to the appropriate parties.
- Prepare all incoming and outgoing mail-postal, interoffice and other.
- Provides typing/word processing support to the accounting and administrative executive staff and consultants including copying, mailing, scanning and filing of correspondence.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and requisitions for new items.
- Produces purchase orders and distributes as necessary.
- Provide assistance on various projects and perform such other duties that may be assigned
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- At least one year work history within an office environment; proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to perform light physical non-strenuous activities of an administrative nature.
