Delta’s Global Events team is a centralized group of experts leading highly produced customer & employee meetings, events, conferences, and hospitality programs. We are looking for an individual to lead the guest management experience across signature events to ensure a positive attendee experience from beginning to end. Guest management is a complex process involving the beginning to end attendee event experience and multiple owners and teams. Includes nominations, registration builds, save the dates, invitations, microsites, reporting, VIP management, briefings, communication delivery, attendee interface, onsite concierge services, travel coordination with SME’s, etc.
This ideal candidate is a highly skilled event registration expert, project manager, and orchestrator who is team-oriented, client-oriented, and hardworking.

Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
- Lead the guest management experience for signature customer and employee events, end to end, specifically large-scale conferences, festivals and special events
- Invites – Manage attendee lists and communicate RSVP status
- Registration - Build, test & maintain microsites, collect attendee data, assign seating, name badges, lead and handle registration and registration team onsite
- Reporting
- Communication Delivery – Set up and send save the dates, invites, Before You Go’s, post-event surveys/comms, Guest communications, Communicate changes to teams. Coordinate with the Event logistics, Creative, and Communications teams.
- Mobile App - Build, test and maintain the app
- VIP Management - Customized itineraries for VIPs, VIP comms, Guest Look Books, Delta Executive briefings, Onsite support
- Travel coordination with internal Subject Matter Experts - Booking air, hotel & ground
- Post-event: Salesforce integration and reporting
Salary range $73,627 - $88,353
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- 7 years of successful event registration, project management, event operations experience
- Cvent certifications (e.g., Event Management, Event Management Advanced, Attendee Hub, Diagramming and Seating, Passkey Planner, Social Tables)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with leadership and partners
- Shows strength in using known and new digital tools and platforms, including understanding how functionality impacts user experience and troubleshooting technical solutions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with complex requirements, challenging priorities, and last-minute changes
- Adept at working on multiple projects at once, setting priorities, working independently, problem solving, improvising, and functioning as part of a team that often must perform under pressure
- A keen ability to collaborate with multiple teams and have productive outcomes that will promote successful results
- Demonstrates resourcefulness, initiative, and pride of work product with outstanding attention to detail
- Willingness to take on additional tasks and roles with a “can-do” attitude
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- Hours may vary and will include days, nights, weekends etc. International/Domestic travel <25% required

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, business administration, communications, or 7 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Experience in a corporate environment preferred
- Superuser experience in other leading event registration technologies
