About the Role
This entry-level position involves performing physical tasks such as lifting, loading, and unloading baggage, mail, and cargo from aircraft. You will also be responsible for operating ground equipment like tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors, and using baggage scanners to ensure accurate routing of baggage.
- Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions.
- Safeguard cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
- Safely operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
- Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to customer destinations.
What You Need to Succeed

- Be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Have proficiency in English.
- Pass a physical ability test (PAT) and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
