Job Overview:
DelPrete Home Improvements is seeking a highly motivated and extremely organized Install Manager to oversee and manage all siding, doors, windows, and trim projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of installations, maintaining quality standards, and managing the scheduling and operational processes involved in these projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and work very closely with the outside Project Managers (PJM). The PJM is the onsite supervisor for all siding, door, window, and trim installation projects.
- Oversee PJM's, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop, maintain, and adjust installation schedules, coordinating with the Roofing PJM when roofing is part of the installation package.
- Develop contract summaries and work orders for the PJM’s and install crews that explain how the job will be installed and what must be ordered.
- Order all siding, trim, window and doors materials
- Coordinate deliveries and schedules with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure the PJM’s and crews adhere to safety regulations on job sites.
- Monitor project progress and troubleshoot any issues that may arise to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Assess project workflows and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Be able to measure windows and doors after the contract has been sold and then order through ProVia portal
Must Have Qualifications:
- Must be highly organized and efficient
- Must have good computer skills: Word, Excel, Gmail
- Must have proven knowledge of Cedar, Vinyl, Hardie siding , Replacement & New Construction windows, Exterior door installations and overall construction.
- Must have knowledge of field and product terminology, industry standards, materials, and best practices for siding, doors, windows, and trim.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in overseeing others.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts and change orders
- Must have outstanding attitude and personality to deal with homeowners
Preferred Qualifications
- Have field experience installing siding, windows and doors.
- Experience in managing siding, door, window, and trim installation crews.
- Experience in a similar role within the home improvement industry.
- Familiarity with MS Office and using a CRM
- Deep familiarity with windows and doors so that they can be measured for exact final measurements and then ordered.
- Pulling building permits
