The position focuses on implementing, maintaining, and optimizing privileged access management solutions to ensure secure access to critical data and assets across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Designs, installs, updates, and maintains enterprise password vault systems, including performing regular backups, vulnerability assessments, and system testing to ensure optimal operation.
- Monitors system performance, manages change and problem resolution, and maintains asset management records related to password vaults.
- Provides second- and third-level technical support by troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting incidents involving end-user systems, applications, and hardware.
- Offers expert recommendations on system and application configurations to enhance security for access, data, and assets.
- Responds promptly and accurately to customer requests for password management and security support.
- Leverages security technologies such as logical access controls, identity and access management, directories (e.g., AD, LDAP), privileged access management, and single sign-on systems.
- Troubleshoots encryption protocols (SSL/TLS), web traffic, and packet analysis to resolve security and connectivity issues.
- Develops, maintains, and implements standard operating procedures and guidelines for password vault management.
- Reviews work processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and security enhancements.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for privileged identity management services and technologies.
- Collaborates with other IT teams and vendors to resolve incidents and improve system performance.
- Evaluates, recommends, and implements new hardware and software solutions to enhance system reliability and security.
- Creates and reviews system documentation, including processes, procedures, and system flow diagrams.
- Participates in projects and workgroups related to identity and access management.
- Provides on-call support on a rotating basis, including outside of normal business hours.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience managing an enterprise password vault system.
- Associate’s degree in information technology or a closely related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Intermediate understanding of Privileged Access Management and enterprise credential vault applications.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level vault systems within a security-focused environment.
- Experience with enterprise identity and access management solutions.
- Knowledge of encryption protocols such as SSL/TLS.
- Familiarity with web traffic analysis and packet inspection.
- Prior experience in a government, financial, or regulated industry environment.
