Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve tier 1 computer issues across multiple operating systems, including Windows, OSX, Unix, Android, and iOS.
- Support and maintain audiovisual and videoconferencing equipment, including setup, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Assist with the operation and support of office productivity software, audio listening equipment, VOIP desk-sets, document cameras, and presentation tools.
- Support hardware installation, repair, and replacement of equipment across various locations within the state.
- Manage hardware inventory data, including serial numbers, locations, users, and equipment status.
- Support and troubleshoot audio equipment and general AV systems used in courtrooms and meetings.
- Support remote video proceedings, including hosting and troubleshooting virtual hearings.
- Collaborate with IT team members and external vendors to develop technical plans and coordinate equipment deployment and maintenance.
- Assist in drafting operational procedures and work orders for vendor services.
- Provide basic technical training and support to staff and courtroom participants, translating technical concepts into layman’s terms.
- Ensure all information systems operate securely, reliably, and efficiently.
- Proven experience supporting videoconferencing and audiovisual equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and fix tier 1 computer issues.
- Basic working knowledge of audio equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under high-stress conditions.
- Ability to learn and support multiple platforms, including Zoom, Windows, OSX, Google, Unix, Android, and IOS.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
- Experience supporting staff computers and devices across multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with audio/video equipment used in courtroom or government settings.
- Ability to support or learn additional platforms as needed.
- Experience working in a government, judicial, or similar high-security environment.
