Seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to deliver on-site technical support within a dynamic corporate environment. This role involves providing second and third-level assistance for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring end-user productivity and system integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver senior-level support for end users regarding hardware and software issues on desktop and laptop computers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity problems for remote and on-site users.
- Support and configure mobile devices, including Blackberries, Windows Mobile Devices, Android, and iPhones.
- Maintain and update the universal computer image and software packages using configuration management systems such as SCCM and Altiris.
- Monitor hardware and software compliance, administer software updates, and manage patches across the desktop environment.
- Document procedures for hardware and software configurations to ensure consistent deployment and troubleshooting.
- Manage email client configurations and troubleshoot issues within Microsoft Outlook.
- Administer Active Directory to support user account management and permissions.
- In-depth knowledge of interacting with a variety of hardware and software platforms, including Microsoft Windows operating systems and device drivers.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot email clients such as Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with Active Directory administration.
- Work authorization to be employed on a W-2 basis.
- On-site work environment in Tampa, FL, with a requirement for on-site presence three times per week.
- Experience supporting mobile device management for Blackberries, Windows Mobile, Android, and iPhones.
- Familiarity with configuration management systems like SCCM and Altiris.
- Knowledge of software compliance monitoring and patch management processes.
