Delphi Academy of Florida is a private, non-sectarian, competency-based Preschool - High School in Clearwater, Florida. We have doubled our enrollment and student body over the last few years with a large waiting list of families to enter our school. We are hiring more teachers for long term employment with a great group of co-workers to continue and enhance our student experience for our High School students.

Teacher Duties and Responsibilities
- Past experience teaching groups of young children ages 11-13 years old.
- Provide a positive educational environment for children to learn and grow.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet education standards
- Facilitate classroom activities and discussions
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain student records, including attendance and grades
- Communicate with parents about student progress
- Utilize technology to enhance learning and teaching
- Participate in professional development activities
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years past experience teaching groups of children ages 13-18 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation
- A great communicator with children and adults, and able to build lasting relationships
- Patient, creative, energetic, kind and loving
- Able to provide a positive educational environment for the children to learn and grow
- Computer savvy and can update online classroom pages
- Passionate about education and teaching
- High School diploma
