Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of multiple clients' accounting functions. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of clients books and will involve working closely with business owners to provide insights into financial performance.
Duties
- Bookkeeping and monthly close in Quick Books online and desktop
- Monthly maintenance of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flow
- Preparation of monthly report packages
- Analysis and interpretation of financial statements and other financial data with the ability to communicate insights to clients
- Preparing custom financial reports for clients as needed
- Providing financial-related administrative support to small businesses, including but not limited to, preparing budgets and forecasts, preparing loan and line of credit applications, assisting in the development of grant applications, and completing insurance policy audits
- Filing sales tax, highway use tax, and specialty taxes for small businesses, as well as annual 1096 and 1099s
- Collecting tax authorization paperwork from clients
- Monitoring income tax obligations based on business profitability, and keeping tax preparers updated about client profitability
Skills
- Time management with the ability to prioritize workload
- Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Strong account analysis skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with bank reconciliation processes.
- Solid understanding of debits, credits, and account reconciliation practices.
- Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping systems.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related work experience

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
