Tool & Die Repair Technician

Pay Rate: $35 - $45/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Die Maintenance and Repair: Perform tasks like grinding, shimming, and replacing components in progressive dies.
- Machine Operation: Utilize various machine tools for turning, shaping, and milling while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with tooling and dies.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to understand die specifications.
- Inspection: Verify dimensions and alignments of die components using precision measuring instruments.
- Collaboration: Work with engineering and production teams to improve tooling designs.
Qualifications:
Experience: Requires at least 3 years of experience in tool and die repair.
- Skills: Strong hands-on experience with manual machines, troubleshooting, and die repair.
- Education: A journeyman's card or equivalent years of experience.
