Overview
- Reports to the Drafting and Detailing Manager
- No direct reports.
- All employees are responsible for the technical aspects of the position while demonstrating the company’s core values (People First, Respect and Integrity, Innovation, Dependability, Enjoyment).
- General continuous improvement, innovation, and change management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use computer related design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs.
- Work directly with design engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images.
- Make final sketch of proposed drawing, check dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
- Draft detailed multi-view drawings of products and structures.
- Design parts and products based on written and verbal descriptions from design engineers.
- Work closely with all production departments to ensure the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
- Work from customer drawings, internal drawings, government drawings, or specifications.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Enrollment or Completion of a two or four-year accredited design and drafting program is required.
- Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and time-management skills are required.

Standard Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
