The Housekeeping Manager directs and oversees all housekeeping and laundry operations throughout the Dellshire Resort. This position manages departmental leadership, staffing, training, and quality standards to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are impeccably maintained. The Housekeeping Manager plays a hands-on leadership role in upholding Dellshire Resort’s commitment to cleanliness, service excellence, and a welcoming guest experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Manages daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure high standards of cleanliness, organization, and service.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, and laundry team members.
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces to ensure compliance with resort standards.
  • Coordinate with the Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure timely room readiness, maintenance follow-up, and guest satisfaction.
  • Support the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and cleaning programs.
  • Oversee scheduling, labor management, and payroll processing in alignment with budgetary goals.
  • Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities; ensure cost control through efficient ordering and usage.
  • Monitor guest feedback and service scores, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure proper training and adherence to safety and chemical handling procedures.
  • Oversee deep cleaning, project work, and preventive maintenance tasks throughout the property.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

What are we looking for?

Who You Are

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in housekeeping or operations within a resort or full-service hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and motivate large, diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to balance guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems (Opera, HotSOS, or similar).
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as business needs require.
