About The Role

Deliverance Charities is seeking a Web Developer to support and maintain our website as we grow our programs, storytelling initiatives, and fundraising efforts. This role focuses on keeping the website functional, user-friendly, and aligned with our mission to develop, inspire, and empower communities.

The Web Developer will work closely with our Content Strategy and Digital Marketing teams to ensure that stories, blog content, email signups, and donation pages work smoothly and look professional. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to use their technical skills to make a meaningful social impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Deliverance Charities website to ensure it is secure, fast, and functional
• Build and update web pages for programs, campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives
• Implement forms, email signups, donation pages, and basic integrations (e.g., email platforms)
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to publish stories, blog posts, and campaign pages
• Troubleshoot website issues and fix bugs as they arise
• Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and accessible
• Apply basic SEO and performance best practices
• Document website processes and updates for internal use
  
  

Work Environment Our team is collaborative and supportive, using tools Google Gmail, Chat and Space to stay connected and work efficiently.

Schedule

• Self-determined schedule (weekends are preferred)
• At least 5 hours a week, anything more is appreciated
• Monthly updates and check ins submitted via email or chat.
