What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Picker position at Delina Chill?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Stacker to support our warehouse production lines. The Stacker is responsible for preparing production lines, building accurate pallets, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand production sheets to ensure the correct product, pallet quantities, and order sequence are followed.
- Set up production lines before start time, including tables, materials, equipment, safety chains, and correct pallets.
- Build and organize pallets according to customer requirements (Walmart, HEB, and other specifications).
- Coordinate with Pickers and team members using radios to prevent delays and maintain production flow.
- Ensure pallets are properly stacked, labeled, wrapped, and ready for movement.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris, broken pallets, and potential hazards throughout the shift.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain organization around production lines.
- Assist team members when needed to keep production running smoothly.
- Learn proper pallet jack/forklift procedures and obtain required certifications.
- Help prepare the production floor at the beginning and end of each shift.
Qualifications:
Heavy lifting 35lbs-50lbs
Stacking and Strapping experience
Bending, kneeling, carrying product, moving constantly (physically stability)
Forklift and pallet jack experience
Good math skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and is able to meet strict deadlines
High School Diploma
Pay: $16.34 - $17.07 per hour
Work Location: In person
