What we’re looking for:

  • Experience making a variety of pastries and cookies
  • Skills in baking items such as:
  • Apple strudel
  • Seven layer bars
  • Danishes
  • Croissants
  • And pastries
  • Attention to detail, consistency, and cleanliness
  • Ability to work early mornings and handle production efficiently

Duties

  • Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods with precision and creativity
  • Decorate cakes and confections using advanced cake decorating techniques
  • Package finished products for retail or catering purposes, ensuring presentation quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations according to food safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Support catering events by preparing specialty desserts and assisting with setup as required
  • Follow recipes accurately while applying culinary techniques to achieve desired results

Skills

  • Proven experience in pastry arts, baking,
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or during catering events
  • Experience with food packaging, catering services, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with culinary tools, equipment, and ingredients used in pastry making
