Seasonal Operations Team Leader

Education & Qualifications:           Must be at least 17 years of age. Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED preferred.  A minimum of 1-2 years of experience within the department and previous management and/or leadership experience is strongly preferred.  Must have ability to perform basic math, count, and be organized.  Must display excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures. Starting Rate of Pay: $13.25 an hour.

Summary:            The Operations Team Leader assists with the day-to-day operations of the ride and clean up department in coordination with the Manager. The team leader uses personal drive, safety-oriented behaviors, and commitment to the company core values and department goals to create a positive working culture for team members while providing a clean and safe environment for guests. They monitor team member performance to ensure compliance of both company and department policies, procedures, and child labor laws. Team Leaders resolves guest complaints/issues reporting any issues to the Department Manager. Team Leaders fulfills manager duties during operating days and through scheduled shifts according to business needs.

Essential Functions:

• Lead and supervise daily in-park operations for the ride and clean up departments.
• Ability to understand and operate rides in the park and be able to work independently.
• Ability to understand, enforce, and perform duties for maintaining cleanliness of park midways, dining and picnic areas, restrooms, and back of house areas.
• Train ride operators and clean up team members on standard operating procedures following established training plans.
• Perform department opening and closing duties.
• Create a working environment that encourages team members to have fun, provide excellent guest service and fosters personal growth.
• Provide Superior Service to all guests by answering questions and having the answers or knowing where to find them.
• Coach and develop team members by providing help and support while upholding company policies and values.
• Assist in compliance of child labor laws, daily job positions, and break schedule for team members.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness, and organization in immediate and surrounding work areas.
• Work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, and cold temperatures.
• Act in place of the Operations Manager when necessary.
