Education And Experience
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Two (2) or more years Experience in refining, oil & gas, petrochemical, or other process industries (Preferred)
- Six (6) or more years Extensive experience with industrial networking, including Cisco switching/routing, network design, and segmentation strategies. (Required)
- Preferred Certifications/Licensures: (CISSP, GICSP, CCNP/ PCNSE, TOGAF, or vendor-specific control system certifications)
- Extensive experience with industrial networking, including Cisco switching/routing, network design, and segmentation strategies.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls in secure OT environments.
- Proven ability to design complex systems and lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with cloud integration, data historians, and advanced analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), including Yokogawa, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, and Foxboro, as well as SCADA systems and HMI technologies.
- Establish and maintain enterprise OT architecture standards across refinery environments
- Provide technical design authority for OT infrastructure including control systems, industrial networks, and integration platforms
- Govern lifecycle management processes including patching, upgrade sequencing, and version alignment across sites
- Lead architecture planning and technical oversight for OT infrastructure initiatives and modernization programs (e.g., OTPCN)
- Define and enforce network segmentation, firewall, and secure access models within OT environments
- Partner with site IT teams to guide implementation while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and corporate IT teams to align OT infrastructure with business objectives
- Maintain documentation of architecture standards, configurations, and design decisions
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, vendors, and solutions to support OT environments
- Provide technical leadership and support during major incidents, outages, and troubleshooting scenarios
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements impacting OT systems
- Support integration of OT systems with enterprise platforms, data historians, and analytics solutions
