Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical settings, ensuring the highest quality of care for individuals with diverse needs. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns or changes to family members or healthcare providers.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments or social activities.
Skills
- Level II trauma center experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and Level I trauma center protocols is advantageous.
- Experience in pediatrics (PICU), operating room (OR), geriatrics, medical-surgical, inpatient, outpatient, clinic, post-acute care, and sub-acute care settings is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding in all interactions with clients.
- Proficient in time management and organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
