What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Pool - Animal Science position at Delaware Valley University?
The department of Animal Science is searching for adjuncts to teach one or more sections of the following:
- Animal Anatomy and Physiology lecture or laboratories
- Animal Feeding and Nutrition lecture and/or laboratories (requires knowledge of ration balancing and appropriate computer software)
- Principles of Animal Nutrition laboratories
- Livestock Evaluation lecture and laboratory
- Poultry Science lecture and laboratory
Required Education and Experience:
- B.S. in Animal Science or a related discipline
- M.S. or Ph.D. /D.V.M. preferred
- Knowledge of one of the listed disciplines either through graduate work and/or industry experience is a must
- Previous teaching experience is a plus
Applications will be reviewed for summer, fall and spring course work on a rolling basis.
Selected applicants will be responsible for providing the University with clearances, appropriate to the position, that have been completed within the last 5 years. These clearances could include but are not limited to: Pennsylvania Patch, FBI Fingerprints completed by IDENTGO, and the Child Abuse History clearance.
