Concrete Foreman

Crew Foreman-Concrete Operations

Delaware Valley Paving is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead crews based out of the Philadelphia and/or New Jersey region. This role is responsible for supervising daily concrete productivity and quality standards, and ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead concrete crews in the field
• Train and mentor crew members
• Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, and equipment with project management
• Ensure proper paving methods, grades, joint construction, and compaction
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and work orders
• Maintain job site safety, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote safe work practices
• Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, inspectors, and crew members
• Complete daily reports, production logs, and time tracking as required
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with standards
• Assist with hands-on paving work as needed
  
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete/asphalt operations
• Prior experience in a Foreman or Crew Lead role preferred
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required (CDL a plus)
• Ability to manage crews and maintain productivity under tight schedules
