I. GENERAL SUMMARY:
- The MRI technologist position is for the North Brandywine Road office.
Ii. Principal Duties And Essential Functions
- The MRI Technologist must demonstrate professional radiological imaging skills to assure quality management of all aged patients (adolescent through geriatric).
- The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, MRI safety, quality control, patient satisfaction, efficiency and the adherence to all American College of Radiology guidelines.
- Responsible for producing quality MRI imaging, obtaining medical history, following pre-set protocols, while maintaining highest quality of patient care and safety.
- She/he must be able to communicate to patients the nature of the exam and relieve their anxiety.
- Must demonstrate excellent positioning; imagine technique, imaging equipment knowledge, quality control and infection control.
- Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
- High level of crosssectional anatomy, preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of MRI technology.
- Strong and Interactive communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, problem solving and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Strong Organizational skills, ability to work independently with exceptional attention to detail.
- Graduate of school of Radiologic Technology.
- Current radiography license in State of Delaware
- ARRT registered: board certification in MRI
- Current BLS Certification, Required
- Previous MR experience highly preferred
