Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Camper Service Attendant to join our team at Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Camper Service Attendant, you will sell retail merchandise to guests, creating an excellent experience for our guests at all times.

What will you do?
- Greet and acknowledge guests, answer guests’ questions, and assist whenever possible, as well as process returns, with the approval of the supervisor
- Processes sales with the appropriate point of sale system, accepts payment, counts change, and bags merchandise
- Maintains a clean and organized store or stand with orderly back-stock
- Ensure all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed, notifying the General Manager of defective, mis-marked, mislabeled, incorrectly priced, or damaged merchandise
- Remove trash
- Clean showers, bathrooms, and laundry room
- Stack and/or move wood
- Watches for and recognizes security risks and thefts, and reports to security and management
More about you
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in cash handling and operating point-of-sale systems required
- Previous experience in retail or customer service environment preferred
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills with the ability to accurately handle money and count change
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and stand for entire length of shift
- Ability to bending, reach, walk up and down stairs, and climb on step stool frequently
