The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a full-time Call Center Representative to join our Visitor Complex team at the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. At the Visitor Complex, operated by Delaware North, we help NASA tell the story behind our country’s space program. The ideal Call Center Representative will share this same passion for wanting to ensure our guests have the best experience at the Kennedy Space Center.

$17.75 – $17.75 / hour

What will you do?
- Handle booking inquiries and sales for individual and group tickets, including vacation packages, via phone, email, and in person.
- Develop strong product knowledge to effectively promote and sell attractions and experiences offered at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
- Respond to a high volume of calls, assisting guests with questions, requests, and reservations.
- Process reservations, bookings, refunds, and cancellations while assisting guests in planning their visit
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and schedule special programs and events as needed.
- Generate and analyze reports on call center KPIs, revenue, and sales performance for management review.
- Contribute to achieving individual and team sales goals and performance targets.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain guest and booking records.
- Support overall sales and service objectives while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
More about you
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous call center experience preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and coworkers via email, phone, and in person.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical requirements
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer, phone system, and related office equipment continuously throughout the workday.
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to walk short distances as needed throughout the facility.
