What will you do?
- Train and supervise kitchen team members to uphold EDR standards and completes other duties as assigned by management.
- Oversee day‑to‑day EDR operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, portioning, and sanitation.
- Create weekly dining room menus using personal or established recipes.
- Prepare and serve hearty meals for team members using proper techniques and high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of workstations, coolers, equipment, and storage areas; ensure all kitchen equipment remains in full working order.
- Supervise food prep, breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and proper storage of all items to maintain freshness and safety.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations including labeling, temperature logging, and waste control procedures.
- Manage opening, closing, side‑work duties, and daily inventory tasks. Orders receives and check deliveries for accuracy, quality, and proper storage, while maintain food costs within culinary leadership parameters.
More about you
- Minimum two years' experience as a Line Cook, Lead Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct and support a team effectively
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Basic computer and math skills needed to place orders and follow recipes and measurements
- Ability to read and understand recipes, food labels, and safety guidelines
- No college degree required
Physical requirements
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to reach,bend, squat, and work in variable temperature environments.
- Standing, walking, bending for the duration of the shift, occasionally pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms
- Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids
