The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Floor Supervisors to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As a Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and training retail team members and working to maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures. Pay
$18.75 – $19.75 / hour

What will you do?
- Welcome guests and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding available products and services
- Responsible for opening and closing in accordance with management directives and operational procedures.
- Assist management with the daily cash procedures and operations
- Learn all roles within the department and provide hands-on support as needed to ensure seamless coverage and continuity of service
- Monitor store floor, assist with guest and team member needs, and ensure integrity of physical inventory and par levels
- Accurately record all transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system or assist with self check outs
- Assist with team member check-in and check-out processes to include documentation, assign dorm rooms, and coordinate required maintenance and repair for new arrivals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift
- Perform other duties assigned
More about you
- Ability to deescalated guest and team member complaints or concerns and redirect to management
- Previous experience working with point-of-sale and cash handling required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer service or retail environment required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Constant standing, lifting, climbing stairs, and repetitive motions
- Bending, reaching, and climbing on ladders
