What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Manager-OPTIONS position at Delaware County Intermediate Unit?
The job of Data Manager is done for the purpose/s of developing and monitoring all systems to monitor program data and billing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Coordinate referrals and schedules (e.g. client schedules; online Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities billing; referrals for school age/Office of Vocational Rehabilitation/OIDD clients, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy of district databases.
• Develop and maintain all database activities (e.g. reports from OVR, OIDD & School Age Programs; timelines and reports for Adult Service Provider and School Age reports; billing issues; coaching/support information; transportation for school age, etc.) for the purpose of tracking participation, compliance and issues.
• Establish and maintain record keeping logs related to correspondence, work placements and assessments for the purpose of ensuring that defined requirements meet expected functionality.
• Maintain contact with Representatives from the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in regard to all financial issues and respond to concerns and issues as they arise in a timely manner for the purpose of efficient and effective communication.
• Monitor informational bulletins from the Home and Community Services Information System (HSCIS) for Office of Intellectual Disability Client referrals to ensure program compliance and process monthly online billing for Office of Intellectual Disability clients for the purpose of acquiring current information for effective program implementation.
• Process billing and provide back up for school age programs (Enhanced Employment, The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, The Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Workforce Development, the Community Living and Learning program and Students Acquiring Independent Living Skills) to the business office and assure timeliness of delivery for the purpose of ensuring efficient billing processes.
• Track information for OPTIONS program including staff direct service hours, outcomes and IEP activity for the purpose of maintaining accurate data.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions of database systems for the purpose of resolving operational issues and restoring services.
• Collaborate with staff (e.g. agency representatives, etc.) for the purpose of providing and/or receiving information.
• Participates in meetings, workshops and/or trainings (e.g. financial conferences for OIDD/OVR, etc.) for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned (e.g. provide coverage for secretary as needed, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
• Responds to inquiries from a variety of sources (e.g. staff, administrators, school site personnel, outside vendors and service providers, etc.) for the purpose of providing information and support.
• Schedule courtesy transportation for adult clients
• Facilitate and implement in-office onboarding of new job codes in coordination with Coordinator and Supervisor.
• Communicate and prepare schedules for all adult clients and their job coaches in collaboration with lead teacher and
Employment Liaison Coordinator.
• Schedule assessments with OVR and OIDD for Pre-ETS, adult and school aged clients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Education Required: Community College and/or vocational school degree with study in job-related area
Experience Preferred: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility desired.
Salary : $35,089 - $42,106
