Position Summary

The Delaware County Community College is seeking experienced plumbers to instruct a variety of day-time plumbing classes to college-level plumbing certificate students at Main Campus in Media.
Essential Functions
Successful candidates are required to teach both lecture (theory) and lab (practical applications) classes in:
- Plumbing Theory
- Residential Plumbing Services
- Faucets & Fixture Systems
- Drains & Sewers
- Hot Water Production
Experience & Education
The ideal candidate must have:
- Be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in working with professional residential and/or commercial plumbing.
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of on-the-job experience or a combination of training and experience.
- Be a certified Journeyman Plumber
- Be able to work with a diverse group of students.
