To ensure the safety of the resort guests and the resort by touring the property both inside and out.
- Patrol all buildings and grounds.
- Maintain radio contact with operator.
- Respond to guest complaints.
- Respond to guest and employee incidents (emergencies, etc.)
- Secure all doors including entrances, exits, and guest and meeting rooms.
- Enforce all safety and security rules and regulations
- Prepare shift security reports.
- Prepare incident reports.
- Notify proper authorities when needed with regards to incident.
- Transport guests to off property sites when necessary.
- Responsible for safety and well being of guests and resort property.
- Makes routine inspections of all facilities-checks banquet rooms, ballrooms, and guestrooms for proper use and safety conditions.
- Completes incident reports as required for any injury, theft, burglary, or other occurrences.
- Completes Daily Activity Reports.
- Handles emergency situations as required by the resort’s emergency procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Ass’t General Manager and/or Manager on Duty (MOD)

Qualifications:- High School diploma or equivalent
- previous resort security and/or active police skills necessary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Valid driver's license
- CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
- must be at least 18 years or older
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and/or stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet and/or sitting.
