This position is part time and will be on call. You will receive a phone call or text message, and you will be asked if you would like to cover an available shift. You have the option to say "Yes" or "No". If yes, the supervisor will give you the details related to the shift you'll be working. In addition, you will be eligible to move to a full-time position if one is to open up. The main goal of this position is to have a group of people who can come to work with very short notice. You will not be required to accept every shift that opens up, but we would like to see you take as many as you can.
Main Responsibilities:
- Keep buildings in a clean condition with attention to detail.
- Perform all heavy-duty cleaning and regular maintenance activities.
- Take pride in your work and contribute to a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean building floors (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping).
- Gather and empty indoor trash.
- Clean, service, and resupply restrooms.
- Engage in building security and safety activities.
- Inform managers about required repair and maintenance activities.
Job Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Janitor or related role.
- Must be trainable and willing to learn the Del Sol "Way".
- Strong multitasking skills and reliable transportation.
- Bonus: Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
