We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Cruise Terminal Maintenance and Operations Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the cruise terminal facilities. You will assist in various maintenance tasks and support terminal operations to provide a seamless experience for cruise passengers and staff.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the cleanliness and appearance of terminal facilities, including restrooms, waiting areas, and boarding bridges.
2. Conduct inspections of terminal infrastructure, equipment, and systems to identify any maintenance needs or safety hazards.
3. Assist in the repair and maintenance of facility components.
4. Support terminal operations staff in ensuring efficient passenger flow and logistics coordination during peak periods.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure environment for passengers and staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
- Previous experience in maintenance, janitorial services, or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance techniques and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying maintenance equipment and supplies.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
- Knowledge of cruise industry operations and terminal procedures is a plus.
