What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher position at Del Sol School?
Del Sol School is a certified nonpublic school specializing in providing education to students with server challenging behaviors. School Districts place students with server behaviors at Del Sol School for 1-3 years and Del Sol School uses positive behavior intervention to help student decrease their challenging behaviors and build replacement behaviors and alternative skills. When students are able to function with minimum challenging behaviors while completing academic work, they are transitioned back to their home school district. Del Sol School is seeking Credentialed Special Education Teachers to work as part of our team to support the students in reaching their goals and transitioning back to public school.
Applicants must hold a current Special Education Credential with specialization in one of the following areas: Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Moderate/Severe Disabilities, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Physical and Health Impairments, or Early Childhood Special Education.
