We're looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level position that supports Del Sol Research's marketing, community outreach, and patient recruitment efforts through content creation, social media management, event coverage, and lead tracking. The ideal candidate is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, enjoys creating engaging content, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
This role is highly hands-on and requires a combination of creativity, technical skills, organization, and adaptability. The Marketing Assistant will help tell the Del Sol story through social media, community engagement, educational content, and promotional campaigns while supporting the overall growth of our clinical research programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and publish content across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others
- Develop content such as event reminders, event recaps, awareness campaigns, study promotions, educational posts, employee highlights, short-form videos, reels, and trending content
- Design graphics, flyers, and promotional materials using Canva and other creative tools
- Create generic study indication advertisements and educational content for recruitment efforts
- Capture photos and videos at community events, health fairs, outreach activities, and company functions
- Edit video, audio, graphics, and other digital content for social media and marketing campaigns
- Enter, organize, and manage participant leads generated through Facebook and other marketing platforms
- Assist with community outreach initiatives and promotional events
- Monitor social media activity and support audience engagement efforts
- Support the marketing team with various creative and administrative projects as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Strong Canva, social media, and content creation skills
- Experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms
- Basic video editing, audio editing, photography, and graphic design skills
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software platforms quickly
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy while working efficiently
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Results-driven mindset with a strong sense of accountability
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative with minimal supervision
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment
- Comfortable appearing on camera and creating video content for social media platforms
- Comfortable photographing and recording staff, events, and community activities
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Professional, confident presence and willingness to represent Del Sol Research publicly when needed
