Medical Assistant

Del Sol Research is looking for a compassionate, organized, and dependable Medical Assistant to join our Tucson clinical research team. In this role, you'll support study participants and research staff by assisting with clinical procedures, patient visits, documentation, and study-related activities. The ideal candidate is bilingual, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care while contributing to the success of clinical research studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient intake, medical history collection, and study visit preparation
• Obtain vital signs and perform clinical procedures such as ECGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection as permitted
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment
• Accurately document patient information and study-related activities
• Support participant scheduling, follow-up appointments, and study visit coordination
• Assist Clinical Research Coordinators and investigators with protocol-related procedures
• Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and equipment
• Provide a positive and professional experience for study participants

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Minimum 6 months of medical assistant, healthcare, or clinical research experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Computer proficiency and experience with electronic documentation systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

📍 Position is based on-site in Tucson, Arizona
