What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager for Site Planning position at DEL MEDICAL INC?
SUMMARY
This is a key role that will interact with clients, service organizations, vendors, and installers to implement and install our equipment on customer’s sites. Prior project management experience in planning, preparing, coordinating all aspects from beginning agreement through the final walk through.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Ability to establish formal agreements with customer, installers, and other vendors as needed
- Understand State and Local requirements
- Knowledge and experience of architectural planning, room planning, and preparation planning
- Ability to communicate to end users and all service organizations
- Ability to meet designated deadlines
- Coordinate all aspects of a project to meet customer’s installation needs
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- High School degree or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Prior experience in planning and coordinating field implementation projects – medical device industry a plus
- Project management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivator and self-starter
- Excellent negotiating and analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and Outlook

WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The performance of this position may occasional require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
