Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services, the Director of Curriculum and Instruction is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and coordination of the district’s curriculum and related professional learning; provide leadership and expertise in the planning, organization, and coordination of innovation and design.
Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: (1) 5 years of experience at the elementary school level with evidence of increasing levels of responsibility in administration. (2) Proven track record of effective leadership and ability to navigate complex issues and drive strong performance results. (3) Proven strategic planning and project management skills with the ability to translate strategies from plans to action. (4) Successful experience in performing program evaluations. EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: (1) Valid California Teaching and Administrative Credential including CLAD/BCLAD or equivalent. (2) Bachelor's degree from an accredited, competitive college/university is required. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
