This position is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of their designated areas, communicating objectives, action plans, and directions to ensure staff works in a safe and fun environment.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
• Verifying each day's schedule, ensuring that they are adequately staffed, to operate in a safe and functional environment.
• Organizing and leading the load-in, and load-out, coordinating all technical and artistic equipment is being handled within San Diego County Fair guidelines.
• Ensure that the performance venue provides a safe environment for optimal audience comfort and artistic quality.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures set forth by the San Diego County Fair.
• Liaison between venue and artist to ensure all production needs are met and the agreement is being adhered to.
• Responsible for solving any production issues that may arise at any given time in the show timeline.

Qualifications
• 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Working knowledge of technical aspects of concert production.
• Ability to solve logistical and technical problems including staging, lighting, sound.
• Work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organizational skills, quick learner, ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of office equipment including computers applicable software applications.
• Excellent customer service, communication skills, and team player.
• Good judgement and professionalism.

Working Conditions
• Works in a standard office setting operating standard office equipment.
• Potentially work outside as well.
• Could be asked to walk long distances.
• Pushes and pulls file drawers
• Moves objects up to 20 pounds.
• Involves some exposure to hazards or physical risk that require following safety precautions.
• Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
