What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Line Tech position at DEKA Research & Development?
We are looking for a Manufacturing Line Technician for assembly of medical devices alongside other technicians. Most work is completed in a cleanroom environment so must be able to adhere to cleanroom standards.

How you will make an impact as a Manufacturing Assembly Technician:
- Communicate effectively with a team of 3-4 technicians
- Assembly of medical device disposables using screw drivers, torque wrenches, tube cutters, tube stretchers
- Heat sealing
- Printing labels
- Labeling, packaging, and boxing
- Gluing and curing with UV wands
- Flow testing
- Laser welding with fixtures
- Leak testing disposable components and subassemblies with fixtures
- Tracking and recording serial numbers in a database
- Maintain a clean an organized workspace
- Must be able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to assemble components into finished products
- Laser welding experience a plus
- Capable of working in a clean room, prior experience in a clean room a plus
- Respect for strict quality standards
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills, self-starter mentality with a passion for a job well done
- Efficient written and verbal communication skills in English, basic documentation skills and ability to follow written operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail
