We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bakery Store Manager to lead our retail bakery operations. Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to build a motivated team
- Oversee inventory control, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure exceptional customer service standards
- Manage POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Implement marketing strategies to promote bakery products and increase store traffic
- Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding processes
- Monitor sales performance, manage retail math calculations, and develop sales management strategies
- Oversee pricing strategies and ensure compliance with company policies
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health & safety regulations
- Supervise stock replenishment, stocking procedures, and inventory management systems
- Assist in budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks as needed
- Utilize communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, staff, and customers effectively
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail or food service environments; supervisory or assistant manager experience
- Strong background in inventory management, merchandising, sales management, and customer service
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations
- Experience in hiring, training & development of staff; leadership skills essential
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of marketing strategies within retail settings, including promotional activities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction
