Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
- Take coffee, beverage, and food orders accurately.
- Assist with preparing coffee, tea, espresso, and other café beverages according to established procedures.
- Operate the POS system and process customer payments accurately.
- Answer basic questions about menu items, beverages, and café offerings.
- Communicate order details and customer requests clearly with baristas and team members.
- Assist with dine-in, pickup, and takeout orders as needed.
- Keep counters, tables, beverage stations, and customer areas clean and organized.
- Replenish coffee supplies, cups, lids, napkins, utensils, ingredients, and other café items.
- Support coworkers during busy service periods to maintain efficient order flow.
- Assist with opening, closing, and routine daily café responsibilities.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures.
- Help create a welcoming and positive experience for every customer.
Qualifications
- Previous coffee shop, café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful.
- Friendly, professional, and respectful approach to customers.
