This position will be available for morning and evening shifts and potentially 1 weekend day shift.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children during scheduled play sessions, ensuring they follow safety rules and behave appropriately
- Organize and facilitate engaging activities that promote fun, learning, and social interaction
- Monitor the play area continuously for safety hazards or incidents, responding swiftly with conflict management or first aid as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the play space, adhering to health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing information about activities and addressing any concerns promptly
Skills
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally
- Certified in first aid and CPR with knowledge of safety protocol adherence in active environments (preferred)
- Previous experience working with children is prefered
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters positive guest experiences
- Confidence in being left alone with children in a mixed age group
