Theater - One Act Play Director
- Choose an age appropriate one act play for middle school students
- Hold auditions and cast the play
- Conduct rehearsals 2-3 times a week, usually for 1.5-2 hours from early January to early March
- Play is performed the second weekend in March, auditions and subsequent rehearsals should start at the beginning of January or just before winter break in December.
- Usually 15-25 kids
Qualifications
Candidates should be energetic, flexible, knowledgeable in theatre, comfortable with middle school students, good communicators, exhibit healthy boundaries, etc.
Certifications
- Valid CHRC
Education
The Director must be at least 20 years of age, or a high school graduate.
Experience
Have prior experience in community or school theater.
Reports To: Building Administration
Terms of Employment: As determined annually by the District.
Evaluation: Completed annually by Building Administration
FLSA Status: Exempt
