Required skills and experience
Experience:
12 to 15 years of experience required.
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum project management
- Experience managing data platform or web application projects
- Preferably Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent —must be comfortable running sprints with a technical team
- Demonstrated experience managing fixed-scope, fixed-timeline government or public sector technology contracts
- Strong experience managing client-side stakeholder relationships
- Experience managing deliverable-based contracts where formal sign-off is required at each milestone
- Solid understanding of the full software delivery lifecycle
- Experience coordinating with client IT departments (infrastructure provisioning, security reviews, deployment approvals)
- Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, MS Project)
- Strong written communication — status reports, risk logs, meeting notes, and change requests will be reviewed by Commonwealth stakeholders
Nice to have
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Experience delivering open data, data portal, or data platform projects
- Background in or exposure to energy, environmental, or government data domains
- Experience managing post-go-live support periods and warranty transition handovers
Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
