Role Description
DSS is expanding our consulting practice to support emerging large-scale Defense capture/proposal efforts. We are seeking experienced Proposal Managers, Capture Leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with skills and experience in Aerospace Engineering, IT Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity. These opportunities are hybrid remote positions with a high probability of travel to support clients within the continental US.
Qualifications
- Proposal and Program Management skills, with experience in managing large scale multi-faceted defense opportunities.
- Leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in directing and supervising cross-functional teams in a matrix-managed environment with a high operational tempo
- Contract Compliance and Risk Management skills, with experience in planning and executing technical projects to include estimating, ROMs, productivity, performance based management and ensuring quality standards are met for service delivery
- Communication and Interpersonal skills, with experience in maintaining professional relationships with clients and stakeholders, and effectively communicating complex technical and non-technical information to internal and external audiences
- Technical and Analytical skills with a focus on Aerospace Engineering, IT infrastructure, and Cyber Security solution experience.
- Bachelor's degree highly desired
- 10 Years Direct Experience supporting Defense centric business development, capture and proposals required
- Secret Required (TS Eligibility Preferred).
