- Developing and implementing Federal Civilian Human Resources Employment and Compensation policies.
- Subject matter expert providing technical advisory services relating to classification and compensation.
- Analyzes statues, government-wide regulations and National Defense Authorization (NDAA) requirements.
- Directs duties, exercising supervisory and personnel management authorities, of subordinate employees facilitating timely and quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
As a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST at the GS-0201-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:- Performs full range of workload planning, scheduling, and human resources management responsibilities over an assigned workforce of GS-14 and GS-13 human resources technical experts.
- Develops, evaluates and makes recommendations concerning complex Federal civilian HR staffing and pay/compensation policies and programs impacting the DoD civilian workforce.
- Serve as senior technical authority on the most difficult and complex Federal civilian HR classification and compensation issues, advising other experts on how best to resolve and interpret policies and guidance for the Department of War.
- Translate laws and regulations into actionable policies and providing authoritative guidance.
- Serves on numerous internal and external committees, working groups, and panels. Represent DCPAS in dealings with a wide variety of internal and external organizations, including the Office of Personnel Management, other Federal agencies, and Congressional staff.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of formal training to the DoW HR community.
