We're looking for an experienced Production Manager who leads with people first and, as part of our leadership team, keeps a complex operation running at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Production Supervisors and a team of approximately 80 production employees
- Drive performance across production, warehouse, shipping and receiving, and facilities
- Champion continuous improvement using Lean principles and employee problem-solving
- Own inventory accuracy, material flow, cycle counts, and ERP transaction integrity
- Oversee order fulfillment and outbound shipping compliance
- Serve as facility Safety Officer; lead safety programs, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee facility maintenance, building systems, and workplace upkeep.
- Partner with Engineering, Sales, and Human Resources on workforce planning, employee relations, and operational initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Five (5) or more years supervising hourly production teams in a light-manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Demonstrated success improving productivity and first-pass yield using lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), production KPIs, and basic industrial engineering principles.
- Proven ability to coach and develop front-line leaders.
Formal lean certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or similar) and/or experience with high-mix, low-volume assembly and electronic test processes preferred.
