Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm. (or flex 7am - 3:30pm possible)
Position has an opportunity to be remote work / after training but would require 1-day per week in-office regardless.
Funding Coordinator duties:
- Ensure that the funding for a client is processed correctly and entered into Credible, the database for clinical charting and billing.
- Keep track of authorizations from insurance companies and counties and enter them into Credible to allow for billing and payment.
- Admit and discharge clients from Credible.
- Check for insurance changes on the first of the month on the state MN-ITS system. If changes occur then the Funding Coordinator works with the Primary Counselor or Counselor Supervisor to ensure that insurance updates are sent out for authorization.
- Assist with the correction of billing errors.
- Process insurance verification forms for cost estimates
- Contacting counties or insurance companies to help update any discrepancies in data for billing to process correctly
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous healthcare billing experience
- Associate degree or equivalent experience; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- Ability to remain on task and follow through on projects to their completion
- Database, spreadsheet, and word processing computer skills
- Ability to maintain professional standards of conduct and appearance with co-workers and the public
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record that will be accepted by this organization's vehicle insurance carrier
Target Compensation:
$19.00-$20.00/hour
